Humanitarian Tortijada Cake Festival at Delta Planet

This Sunday, December 28th, a competition for the most beautifully decorated cakes and pastries will take place at Delta Planet. Totrijada the cake festival will have a charitable purpose and will be held at the second entrance atrium, starting at 11:00 AM. In addition to the main program, a creative workshop for children will also be organized, beginning at 11:30 AM.
Members of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Professionals “Zoran Mirašević” will present cakes and pastries decorated with festive New Year’s motifs, as well as other sweet treats such as doughnuts and gingerbread cookies. As this is a charity event, visitors will be able to purchase the desserts through an auction, with all proceeds donated to the “Jedro” Foundation. Each buyer will receive a thank-you certificate for supporting this humanitarian initiative.
Alongside the sales segment, the competition itself is a key part of the event. A professional jury will evaluate the cakes and pastries, and the top three entries in each category will be awarded trophies. Other participants will also be recognized with diplomas and medals.
The cake festival also includes activities designed especially for children. At the workshop starting at 11:30 AM, the participants will have the opportunity to express their creativity and try their hand at pastry-making using fondant and dough. At the end of the workshop, the kids will receive thank-you certificates as well.
All desserts that are not sold during the event will be donated to schools for children with developmental disabilities. This event brings together delicious creations and a meaningful cause.
